RNAHC Res. No. 3 s of 2016 = Resolution adopting the strategy on Local Government Unit mobilization for Nutrition

RNAHC Res. No. 2 s of 2016 = Resolution expressing support on the early childhood care and development intervention package for the first 1000 days (ECCD F1K) of the child in the municipalities of Zamboanga del Sur by the Accelerated Sustainability Anti-Poverty Program

RNAHC Res. No.1 s 2016 = Resolution advocating to the members of the Regional Nutrition and Anti-Hunger Committee other NGAs and LGUs the consumption of food & beverages containing high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) and other sweeteners

Localizing the implementation of the 2011-2016 Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition, the Regional Nutrition and Anti-Hunger Committee R-IX (RNAHC) formulated the Regional Nutrition Strategic Plan for 2012–2016 to serve as the directional and guiding document for both the Regional and Local Government Units. The document was endorsed by the Regional Development Council and has since been adopted by the Committee.

The formulation of the 2012-2016 Regional Nutrition Strategic Action Plan was subjected to the Logical Framework Approach. Series of workshop activities was done by the RTWG to finally agree to the long range actions that must be put in place to accelerate the reduction of undernutrition and stunting and provide better nutrition and healthy future for the children of Zamboanga Peninsula

The JP team visits were conducted to increase appreciation, awareness, and overall guaranteed support of partners in the JP areas on MDG-F 2030, and improve coordination and communication with and among key partners.

The nutrition fair was organized by the National Nutrition Council which serves as the secretariat of the Regional Nutrition Committee (RNC) and the Regional Anti Hunger Task Force (AHTF). The conduct of the fair was in coordination with the Provincial Nutrition Committee of Zamboanga del Norte and Municipal Nutrition Committee of Sindangan to promote good nutrition and hunger mitigation measures.

No. 1 s. of 2011 = Resolution enjoining the LGUs to adopt the WHO-CGS for monitoring nutritional status of 0-5 years old children in Zamboanga Peninsula and to provide budget for procurement and reproduction of appropriate measuring tools and assessment forms
