National Nutrition Council MIMAROPA organized a training and development activity to improve productivity and boost the morale of its staff. A Webinar on Work-Life Balance, Work Ethics, and Time Management and Productivity was participated by all eleven (11) NNC MIMAROPA personnel via Zoom last 3 November 2022. Such topics were identified to enable the staff to create positive outlook in work and life.

The webinar was successfully conducted through the experts on such topics.  Ms. Maria Rosa Opis, Senior Labor and Employment Officer of the National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) discussed the “Work-life Balance” where she provided actual tips on attaining such while Board Secretary VI Romeo Opis of the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) MIMAROPA discussed the topic “Work Ethics of a Productive Worker” highlighting the core values of an employee must have. Lastly, Labor and Employment Officer III Francis Atangan of NWPC tackled the “Time Management and Productivity” and taught the NNC MIMAROPA personnel on how to prioritize tasks.

The activity aims to empower NNC MIMAROPA staff and maintain their physical and mental health.

For employees' well-being and interpersonal interactions, it is crucial to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance reduces stress and helps avoid professional burnout. Additionally, a worker who understands work ethics and maintains a work-life balance will be more efficient and productive.
