NNCSTaff Dec2021Butuan City- Despite, the many challenges, new Officer-in-Charge, Dr. Nino Archie S. Labordo expressed appreciation to the staff for being so adaptive and effective in their respective works and functions, this was expressed during the year-end meeting on 28 December 2021 at Almont Inland Resort, Butuan City.

The office has experienced a roller coaster ride in the year 2021 with the shifting of the regional head to the full implementation of the lined-up activities of the year.

Two new staff were hired focused on the implementation of the dietary supplementation program in Surigao del Sur and Agusan del Sur which full implementation will commence in 2022.

On the other hand, three of its staff have considered another career path and will no longer renew for 2022. Administrative staff Rieman Hope Cemine who worked for six years expressed his appreciation for the skills and experiences provided by the office. Same with Jhomary Casuyon, whose function focused on financial management said that she was able to do unusual workload and was able to hone skills on financial transactions. Meanwhile, Nutrition Officer Aldrin S. Atienza would not think of gaining the interpersonal skills and advocacy skills as he does not usual like talking.

Dr. Labordo shared that NNC is thankful for the service rendered and advised to bring the agency’s values and philosophy to any situation they maybe.

In the recent development, Assistant Secretary Azucena M. Dayanghirang announced of the Department of Budget Management (DBM) approval of the creation of NNC Caraga office with structure of various positions in the unit’s sustained operations. #MPRayco/NASLabordo
